Scott serves as the Director of Instruction at the Janus Golf Academy in Southern California. With a proven track record in developing the talents of golfers in the United States, Europe, and Asia, Scott has earned an envious reputation for developing collegiate, club, and international champions. CHAMPION Golf Mat, the brain child of Scott, was developed as a means of addressing the multiple problems associated with practicing on a synthetic golf mat surface. Scott was deeply concerned with the number of golfers who hurt themselves by using synthetic golf mats. Additionally, his students were limited in their ability to develop their golf skills by virtue of the limitations and problems associated with synthetic golf mats. Conversely, with the development of a "Real Grass" golf mat, golfers for the first time could obtain accurate feedback at the point of club impact with the ball, take divots, use long tees, minimize the potential for injury, protect their clubs from damage, and enjoy the experience.
